George Mason University seeks to appoint a term assistant  professor/instructor in Chinese for the 2004-2005 academic year.  9-month appointment. Responsibilities will include teaching all levels  of modern Chinese language, literature courses in English translation,  curricular planning, student advising, and outreach. University-level teaching experience required, and familiarity with the use of  technology in the classroom is highly desirable. M.A. in Chinese  language required, Ph.D. preferred.
