Visiting Assistant
Professor Chinese Language and Literature
The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Union
College seeks applicants for a two-term replacement position in Chinese at the
level of Visiting Assistant Professor (Instructor), beginning January to June,
2005. Qualifications are PhD (ABD) in Chinese
or related field with native or near native proficiency in Chinese and
excellent command of English. Previous college
teaching experience at the first and second year level is highly desired.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in first or second year Chinese, with
possibilities of teaching courses in literature and culture depending on the
candidate¹s qualifications. Review of
