第四屆中加漢語教學研討會暨加拿大中文教學學會年會紀要

在温哥华春天灿烂的阳光里,在缤纷而迷人的落樱下,为期两天(4月27日至4月28日)的第四届中加汉语教学研讨会(简称“研讨会”或“大会”)暨加拿大中文教学学会年会(简称“TCSL学会”或“学会”),在卑诗省列治文市Best Western Richmond Hotel圆满结束。来自中国北京、广州、香港三地,加拿大卑诗省、阿尔伯塔省、安大略省、魁北克省等四省、10多座城市,20多所大学、中小学和相关汉语教学机构的约50位专家、学者和教师,参加了这次的学术交流和研讨。
中国驻温哥华总领事杨强,教育参赞薛亚霏,领事夏建辉、王利,中国国家汉语国际推广领导小组办公室(简称“汉办”)北美办事处代表陈俊波等有关人士出席了开幕式。汉办主任许琳、中国驻温哥华总领事杨强、教育参赞薛亚霏、BCIT孔子学院院长谷丰等发来了贺信,中国复旦大学吴中伟博士也特别发来了祝贺录像。汉办主任许琳在贺信中,对学会在推动汉语教学、传播中国文化、建构和谐世界等方面卓有成效的努力,表示十分赞赏。总领事杨强在贺信和开幕式发言中称,在中国经济和市场强劲发展、北美汉语学习热潮持续升温的形势下,TCSL学会根据学习者的不同需求,探寻使用有效的教学方法,开发适合当地的教学数据,创造有力发展的学术环境,将对加拿大及世界各国的汉语教学大有裨益。教育参赞薛亚霏在贺信和开幕式发言中指出,学会自成立以来,在凝聚广大汉语教师,促进中加两国汉语教学学者与专业人员之间的沟通及学术交流等方面的工作,细致、扎实而富有实效。
大会由学会会长陈山木博士主持,他强调此次大会以“汉语语言与文化教学之探究”为主题,目的在于呼吁汉语教师对文化教学理念与范畴的全面思考与实践,面对新世纪中汉语语言与文化教学和教材方面的新挑战,寻求应对与改革措施,以期在汉语语言与文化教学上开创更好的远景。大會共收到學術論文15篇,並以专題演说、論文报告、圓桌研討等形式,進行了較為充分的學術研討,席間問答、交流、討論非常熱烈,有時會長不得不警告“超時,”以轉入另一篇报告。本屆論文具體內容涉及到有關漢語語言與文化教學的方方面面,有定量与實質性方式的學術研究報告,有緊密結合教學、教材的案例分享。大致概括為:
一、漢語語言與文化教學概念、內涵、原則、方法與研究範疇探討;
二、以漢語學習為案例,對族裔學生語言學習與身份認同的研究;
三、漢語語言與文化教學實踐,群體與個體取向等文化觀念導入對教學效果的提升,上聲發音的數位化實驗及其教學的調位意識,商務漢語教學中文化概念的引入,中西語言、文化比較法在教學中的運用;
四、現代技術在漢語教學中的應用,WEB漢語教學資源的整合與利用,新型簡易漢字輸入法與免費線上多功能漢語詞典等教學資源,遠端智慧漢語教學平臺的開發,多媒體的應用;
五、漢語教材剖析,少兒漢語教材出版新趨勢,目前加拿大大學中普遍使用的5種教材(一年級部分)語法呈現及語法訓練量化分析,目前加拿大大學中2種常用教材特點、優勢與不足的解析。
大會閉幕式在會長对全體與會同仁、常務理事、和義工的感谢声中结束。大家依依不捨,意猶未盡。作為大會最後發言的一位教師,University of Victoria的孫颖女士表示自己“受益匪淺”。她說大會的各项安排都非常好,論文都有理論實踐基础。她由衷感谢大會让她有機會分享同仁的研究成果,分享老師們多年的教學經驗。會長最後公佈,學會第四屆年會商議決定,第五屆中加漢語教學研討會將於2008年4月26日至27日在加拿大卑詩省舉行,就“漢語課堂教學策略”這一主題展開研討。與會同仁反響熱烈,希望能有分組的深入討論,能有優秀教師現場進行示範教學。共同期待,來年盛會。

Chinese Preceptor
The Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University
invites applications for a full-time Preceptor position in the Chinese Language
Program commencing September 1, 2007. Preceptors must be able to teach all
levels of modern Chinese. Candidates must have exemplary ability in
comprehension and active use of modern standard Chinese, written and spoken, at
a native or near-native level, as well as several years experience teaching
modern Chinese at the college level in the United States. Preference will be
given to applicants with an M.A. degree or higher in Chinese Linguistics,
Foreign Language Education, or a closely related field. Experience in
computer-assisted language teaching is a plus. Interested candidates should
send a letter of application, vita, a 20- minute DVD of the applicant teaching,
and three letters of recommendation to:

Kalamazoo College
Chinese Language and Humanities
Kalamazoo College invites applications for a one-year position in Chinese
language and humanities to begin in the fall of 2007. Teaching responsibilities
will be focused on Chinese language and/or culture courses. Familiarity with the
use of information technology in language instruction is a plus. Native/near
native fluency in Chinese and English is required. Candidates are expected to
have high aptitude for and interest in undergraduate teaching and a commitment
to the liberal arts. PhD or master’s degree in a relevant field required. Salary
competitive and consistent with experience. Review of applications will begin

Part-time Lecturer in Chinese Language; 2007-2008; possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities include Chinese language instruction at 1st and 2nd year levels
and curriculum related activities; 2 courses per semester, contingent upon
enrollments. Requirements: native or near native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and
good command of English; experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching
Mandarin Chinese, preferably at the college level in the U.S.; commitment to
language teaching and curriculum innovation; college degree required, MA
